I'm SIngaporean meme
Tomorrow is Singapore's 41st birthday and I read about the I'm Singaporean meme on the Straits Times' Digital Life. It is interesting and I decide to do my the same thing for this entry.
What makes me a Singaporean? I think that the ability to complain makes us all Singaporeans. We will complain about anything that doesn't go our way. Rude salesperson? Complain. No more free parking places at Botanical Gardens? Complain. Taxis that don't stop? Complain. Raise in oil prices? Complain. Dirty toilets? Complain. The lousy fence at Kolam Ayer CC that cannot prevent the ball from rolling down to the drain? Definitely must complain. The list goes on forever.
Complaining is really uniquely Singapore.
